April 11 (Sat) @ KQED HQ, San francisco - THE FRICTION: Editing & Sound Design Sprint. 23:59 — Submission Deadline!
April 12 (Sun) @ KQED HQ, San francisco - THE REVELATION: "Greenlight Sessions" (Studio Pitches), followed by the Black-Tie Grand Premiere & Awards Ceremony.

No Entry Fee: The Cinema Lab is completely free for admitted creators.

Q: What kind of experience do I need? A: Prior AI Video/Filmmaking experience is required. We are looking for Storytellers, Directors, Writers, Editors, and Tech Artists who know how to craft a narrative.
Q: Do I need a full team to apply? A: No! We accept Team and Individual applications. If applying solo, you can form your "Soul Squad" via our Discord or on-site at the Pre-Mixer.
Q: Can I participate remotely? A: The main Cinema Lab is in-person in SF to maximize collaboration, but we will have online "Satellite" tracks (Details TBA).
Q: Is there financial support available for travel and stay? A: Yes! We have partnered with YouArt to offer a limited "Dream Fund" to subsidize travel for 20-25 top-tier, non-local creators (capped at an $800 maximum per person).
How to apply: You MUST apply via the YouArt Creator Partner Program Form by April 3rd at 11:59 PM PST.
The Strategy: Recipients will be announced on April 9th, and funds are distributed after the event. Do not wait for this grant to book your trip. Secure your travel now, and treat this grant as a post-event bonus if selected!
