About Event

We are welcoming Jang Jiyong (aka Alvis), from Korean Autistic-led organisation Estas, to Edinburgh this October. He'll be giving a talk in person and online - discussing Korean culture and current events, the activities of Estas, and the situation for Autistic people in Korea.

In addition to autism politics, the discussion will include K-Pop Demon Hunters, the recent impeachment of former President Yoon, and a bit about Korean food.

His talk will be at Teaching Room 2, in the Law School at Old College, University of Edinburgh. Here is a page on how to access the venue: https://www.accessable.co.uk/the-university-of-edinburgh/central-area/access-guides/old-college-north#344cd5ab-a16c-9747-8d9f-47f2c4149716

For more information and pictures of the room, see here: https://www.bookablerooms.is.ed.ac.uk/room/0001_01_1.266

Alvis last visited Edinburgh with other members of Estas in 2018, when AMASE was still quite a new organisation. We have maintained links ever since.
