Pacific Fusion Coffee Chats

Need a mid-afternoon caffeine boost? Stop by the Willard Straight Hall between classes, grab a free coffee, and meet the team building a fusion machine. Our engineers and physicists design, build, and test the hardware behind pulser-driven fusion, and they're happy to talk about what that work actually involves, from mechanical design to target physics.

Drop in for five minutes or stay for twenty. No resume needed. Slots full? Walk-ins are welcome, and we’ll fit you in between chats. ☕

About Pacific Fusion:
Pacific Fusion is a Bay Area company working to make fusion energy, the same process that powers the sun, a practical, affordable, and scalable power source. Our technology supports both clean energy and national security. Right now, we’re building our Demonstration System in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which is designed to reach net facility gain by 2030. That means producing more energy from fusion than the entire facility uses to run, a major milestone for the field.
