About Event

The 9/11 Memorial Ruck March, led by The Black 6 Project as part of the 25 Years Later: A New York City Veterans’ Tribute series.

Twenty-five years ago, our city and nation witnessed unimaginable loss, but in the days that followed, we saw an unmatched spirit of unity. This 4-mile movement from the Intrepid Museum down to Ground Zero is an act of active remembrance, paying homage to the lives lost on September 11, those lost to 9/11-related illnesses, and service members killed in the War on Terror.

Whether you carry a fully weighted rucksack or simply bring a comfortable backpack, we march together as one community.
