Fireside chat with Anish Agrawal, CEO @ Traversal

​Anish Agarwal joins us for an intimate, online fireside chat hosted at E7, as part of the opening ceremony for Chess Hacks!

Anish is the CEO and co-founder of Traversal, a startup using AI agents to revolutionize site-reliability and observability, autonomously troubleshooting and preventing production incidents. Traversal recently raised $48m seed + Series A, led by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins.

Anish is also a professor of Computer Science at Columbia University and holds a PhD from MIT, where he specialized in causal machine learning—teaching machines to understand cause and effect from data.

Prior to academia, he worked as a research scientist at both Amazon Core AI and Microsoft Research, as well as in management consulting at Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
