All Things Sioux Falls Murder Mystery
The Bazarov Family cordially invites you to celebrate one hundred years of legacy, wine, and Sioux Falls.
An evening of dinner, mystery, and revelation. Dress accordingly.
The truth always surfaces at the table.
I wrote an original murder mystery set in 1987 Sioux Falls called The Bazarov Dynasty. Everyone who attends on May 28th is part of it.
In 1887 a man named Elias Bazarov built one of the most powerful wine dynasties in Sioux Falls. May 28th is the centennial celebration of that dynasty. You have been invited as a guest of the Bazarov family.
Before you arrive at the venue every guest receives a sealed envelope with their character, their secret, and their place in the story. You are not watching a show. You are inside it. What happens next depends entirely on what you do with what is in that envelope.
YOU ARE ALL SUSPECTS. YOU ARE ALL INVESTIGATORS. ONE OF YOU DUN IT.
Then we party.
THE EVENING
6:30 PM · The Bazarov centennial begins.
6:30 PM to 7:00 PM · Find your faction table. Mingle. Settle into the world. Every person here is someone else tonight. So are you.
7:00 PM · Something happens. The investigation begins.
7:00 PM to 9:45 PM · Work the room. Share what you know or guard it. Build alliances. Break them. Figure out who is responsible before the truth surfaces.
9:45 PM · The reveal. The truth always surfaces at the table.
10:00 PM · Three prizes awarded. Then the party starts.
THE PRIZES
Best Actor or Actress. The guest who committed most fully to their character all evening.
The Killer Goes Free. Awarded to the killer if the room fails to identify them correctly.
The Detective. Awarded to the guest who contributed most to surfacing the truth.
THE DRESS CODE
