The Unhurried Heart, A Day of Practice
In the midst of our full and often hurried lives, it is a rare gift to turn toward our own hearts with steadiness and care. This Day of Mindfulness invites us to gently pause and nourish the qualities that support a clear, open, and compassionate presence.
Whether the inner weather is calm or unsettled, bright or clouded, each moment offers the possibility of tending to our experience with awareness. To rest in the being mode is an act of both wisdom and love: wisdom in recognising that our hearts and minds need looking after, and love in the simple gesture of meeting what’s here with patience and attention.
Over the course of the day, we will explore stillness, slowing down, and the easing of urgency. There will be spacious time for guided practice, quiet reflection, and optional journaling, an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, revive curiosity, and touch into what truly matters as the new year begins.
