🚆 Getting There
For group commute options, please arrive at 7:30am at Central Station. You can take the CCN Wyong via Strathfield train, Platform 8 at 7:48am and get off at Wondabyne Station at 9:05am. We’ll meet with the rest of the group at the Station and walk to the start point together.
Going back, trains from Wondabyne to CBD run every hour (2:59pm, 3:58pm, 4:48pm, 5:48pm etc.). There are no shops near Wondabyne station so it's best to bring food.
🚗 Driving
No parking available at Wondabyne Station. It is recommended to park at a nearby train station & take a train to Wondabyne.
🥾 Hike Overview
Spectacular wildflowers, rugged sandstone and the impressive Pindar Cave make this a beautiful adventure through Brisbane Water National Park 🥾
Starting from Wondabyne Station, we’ll climb through bushland and rocky ridgelines to Pindar Cave, before continuing to Pindar Falls.
Expect a mix of fire trails, narrow rocky tracks and sandstone platforms, with some overgrown and scratchy sections. Long pants are recommended. A hidden-gem hike with plenty of wild scenery along the way!
