German Embassy Night 2026

​Join us for a special German Embassy Night bringing together our German-American Fulbright Community from across the United States.

​Hosted jointly by the German Embassy in Washington, D.C. and Fulbright Germany at the start of the Fulbright Association’s Annual Conference, the evening will bring together German and U.S. Fulbright alumnae and alumni, current and former grantees, and partners committed to transatlantic and international exchange.

​At the heart of the evening is our vision of One Fulbright Community: a lifelong network that transcends generations, professions, and national borders. At a time when international exchange and transatlantic dialogue cannot be taken for granted, Fulbright remains a powerful reminder of the importance of personal connections, mutual understanding, and lasting international networks.

​A highlight of the evening will be an inspiring conversation with Fulbright alumnus Albert Manero, Founder and CEO of Limbitless Solutions, whose journey from Fulbright to social entrepreneurship demonstrates how international exchange can create lasting impact.

​We will also launch a new German Interest Group in the United States, creating new opportunities for Fulbrighters with ties to Germany to connect, exchange ideas, and engage with the community across the country.

​The evening also marks an exceptional year for our community: 250 years of American independence, 80 years of the global Fulbright Program, 40 years of the German Fulbright Alumni Association, and 30 years of the Association of Friends and Sponsors of Fulbright Germany (VFF) — while looking ahead to 75 years of Fulbright Germany in 2027.
