Unconference: Village 1.0 | 2026
3 of Us is hosting our THIRD Unconference! And we're inviting you! :D
What is an Unconference?
An Unconference is the opposite of a conference. In a conference, there are designated areas at fixed time slots for a specific activity. However, in an Unconference, participants are welcomed and encouraged to kickstart their own activity spontaneously. The event will be a mix of pre-planned activities, plus participants inspired activities. By participants, I am referring to you! Anyone can host an activity on the day itself and jio/invite others to join in.
So what will I be doing in the event?
We're gonna chill, hangout, play board games, chit chat, conversation card games, table tennis, guitar, and enjoy whatever activities everyone is setting up!
Plus a TV-Zone whereby we will be screening shows to watch together! Or chill and do your own stuff while you take a break from having fun :)
There are multiple areas in which these activities will take place. They are the:
1 . Games Area 🎭🎨🦄
2 . Conversational Card Games Area 👥👥
3 . TV Zone 📺🍿
4. Guitar / Music corner (There will be a guitar there!) 🎸🎤
5 . Adhoc Area (Anyone is free to host an activity here!) 🍃🍂
We're building a pop-up village for a day and everyone who attends will be contributing something! Either in the form of snacks and drinks or running an activity.
Snacks and drinks ($12 per pax)
- A suggestion to buy snacks/drinks/food that are more premium and higher quality. So we'll all get to enjoy nicer snacks, instead of having a whole load of cheap snacks that nobody wants to eat. Pls bring your purchase receipt along.
Running an activity
- Suggestions for activity can range from: Running a CD listening booth, art jam, end of year reflection, etc!
~ Building a village together ~
- If you show up empty-handed, we WILL reject your entry. This is an event for those who wants a village and contribute as a villager.
Hmm. I don't have anything for now. But what if I want to host on the day itself?
Arrival
- The event kickstarts at 12pm (I know it's abit early for a Sunday). Feel free to bring / takeaway your lunch to the venue for consumption!
- What if I wanna come around 4pm? Sure, that works too, but we encourage you to join us for the full duration! After all, it only happens once a year.
Before the event: Join our Telegram group and Instagram! We'll be saying hi to one another before the event in the chat and it'll be a great way for us (Organizers) to update you with the latest info.
Attire : Feel free to wear the following colors if you have them! (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue)
Unconference Guidelines
Here's some guidelines for us to have a safe, fun, enjoyable time together :)
- Whoever shows up is the right people 👥
- Whatever happens is the only thing that could have 👌🏼
- Whenever it starts is the right time ⌚
- When it's over, it's over ✅
- “Law of two feet”. This means that you may step away from an activity anytime. You are responsible for your own experience! Similarly, if there's an activity you'll like to join, feel free to ask if you may interupt and join them. Our goal is to be inclusive and have fun together even if you arrive late to the party.
- Be respectful in your words and actions
- When participating in an activity, actively listen and participate, without dominating the conversation
- Keep an open mind and listen to all points of view, including views which you may not share

3 of Us believe in the strength of the community and building fun and commnual spaces for people to get together. Join us for our THIRD run of Unconference jointly hosted with Youth Corp Singapore!
Erm this sounds fun but why are you running this event?
3 of Us: Great question. My answer is "why not?" To be merry and communal is a very normal human experience. To have fun, play games, interact with new people, and building bonds doesn't really require a reason. It's what we do as people and what we believe in building at 3 of Us.
Rules & Your Commitment
Photos will be taken at the venue for future marketing and publicity purposes.
Feel free to join at your own timing. However, it'll be great if you may come by a longer duration!
Everyone contributes a little something - Either in food/drinks or running an activity for others!
