About Event

Getting media coverage in the US can unlock a new market of customers and investors.

PR success requires an ongoing effort, not a two-week sprint, so how do you create a compelling, newsworthy brand narrative before you even send a reporter your pitch?

Join us for a session with Beck Bamberger, CEO of BAM, an agency based in the US that exclusively represents venture-backed startups. Beck will detail the current perspectives and thoughts of journalists in the US, as revealed by BAM's recent survey, covering what’s important and what’s not when they’re considering writing a story about a startup.

You’ll gain insight on how best to position your startup to US media and get your questions answered directly from Beck in the Q&A to follow.

About Beck

Beck is BAM’s Founder and CEO, and leads a community of 350+ venture capitalist communications professionals who meet yearly at the VC Comms Con event. She’s an angel investor, a Krav Maga practitioner, a TechStars and BLCK VC mentor, a trained Crisis Text volunteer, and works in the San Diego Police department’s Crisis Intervention team. She also won an Emmy and completed a PhD in Global Leadership and Organisational Change in 2023.

About BAM

BAM is a communications agency that believes stories move the world. We move stories forward for venture-backed startups and venture funds that challenge, change and create entire industries. It’s working: our venture-backed startup and venture fund clients raise 94% more capital on average. In 2023, BAM was acquired by LLYC, a global agency in 13 countries and counting.
