About Event

Anti-South Asian Hate: Understanding, Responding, and Building Solidarity. This event will take place on June 2, 6:00-7:30 pm at Stanford University and is being hosted by the Center for South Asia at Stanford University, the Center for the Study of Organized Hate, and Stop AAPI Hate.

This event will feature:

Presentations from the Center for the Study of Organized Hate and Stop AAPI Hate on the latest data on the scope and nature of anti-South Asian hate across in both online and offline contexts.

A panel of experts who will discuss the forces fueling this hostility, the role of social media platforms, and actionable strategies for communities, institutions, and policymakers to push back.
