βCome be part of a treasure trove of design research, creative pictorials, and stories that need to be told. While these submissions were rejected for the main NordiCHI conference, they represent diverse and valuable perspectives that didn't make it through peer review.
βFor one night only, we celebrate the work that pushes boundaries, challenges conventions, and opens new perspectives - even when they didn't fit neatly into NordiCHI's proceedings. Every rejected paper tells a story. Every overlooked pictorial sparks imagination. Every alternative approach plants seeds for future work.
βThe concept of the Pirate event has been plundered from Mafalda Gamboa and Chris Speed, who have hosted similar events at DIS 2025 and DRS 2026.
