Holiday Meeting - Tech Trek Celebration

We’re excited to meet at the Queen City Yacht Club again this year. We’re meeting on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 10 am for coffee, tea and, of course, Chef Willie’s breakfast. Free, reservations are required. Feel free to come at 9:30 am to bring your basket, visit, and help with setup.

For inspiration, we will hear from last summer’s Tech Trek campers. We’ll learn about this wonderful program and how the campers we sponsored experienced this weeklong sleep-away camp focused on science and technology.

We’ll have a basket raffle again this year. Proceeds go to sponsoring our Tech Trek campers (girls and female non-binaries) to attend next year. So be sure to bring cash, your checkbook, or both. If you would like to donate a basket or another container to raffle, please contact Madeline at baskets@aauw-seattle.org baskets@aauw-seattle.org. We’ll also have a “super basket.” After the main raffle we’ll put all the tickets together to draw for this special basket. Feel free to bring one or two single items for this basket if you don’t want to supply an entire basket.
