Owning Your Voice + Meet & Greet

​A meet & greet with women across tech, research and engineering in Goa, over coffee. Plus a guest session with Sonali Dutta, founder of Youmanize: "Owning Your Voice in Rooms That Weren't Made for You."

​We have not got together properly in a while, so this one is mostly for that. Founders, engineers, scientists, researchers and students, in one room, with time to actually talk.

​THE SESSION

​Sonali does 45 minutes on speaking up without shrinking, handling being the only woman in the room, the line between assertive and aggressive, and rewriting the hedging language that undermines you. Then 15 minutes of questions. You will walk out with actual phrases you can use in your very next meeting, not just theory.

​If you have ever rehearsed a point in your head and then let someone else say it, this one is for you.
