​Our second payload — Julian’s Hope — goes into orbit this October.
​Before it does, we’re opening the doors to the Space DOTS office for one evening with a small group of operators, investors and people working at the edge of space, defence and intelligence.
​Space is becoming a very different place to operate.
​Interference with satellite navigation is already affecting aviation across Europe. Governments are openly calling out hostile activity in orbit. And for the companies operating spacecraft, knowing that something happened is no longer enough — they increasingly need to know what happened, why, and what to do next.
​That is the conversation we want to have.
​Where does in-orbit intelligence go from here? What does operating in a contested space domain actually require? And what gets built — and funded — as governments, operators and insurers start demanding much better visibility into what is happening around their assets?
​The evening will centre around a conversation with the people who have been building Space DOTS from the beginning:

​Vincent and Arthur have been alongside Bianca since day zero, helping take Space DOTS from an idea to a company now preparing to put its second payload into orbit.
​Together, they’ll talk about what it actually takes to build a space-tech company from London, the journey from Space DOTS’ first mission to Julian’s Hope, what they are seeing from inside the industry, and why the ability to measure, understand and ultimately attribute what happens around a spacecraft is going to become a fundamental part of how we operate in space.
​Bianca has spent more than 15 years building spacecraft and space technologies, from NASA’s InSight mission to Airbus telecommunications satellites, before founding Space DOTS.

A conversation with Bianca, Vincent and Arthur on building Space DOTS, what it takes to build a space-tech company in London, the journey from the first mission to the second, and where the company is heading next — followed by audience Q&A.
​18:45 — Special Guest Address
A short keynote and conversation with a VIP guest from the UK political / defence community.

Continue the conversation with a room of operators, investors, insurers, government, defence and people building across the space ecosystem.
​There will be no formal pitch.
​This is a small room by design: good people, drinks, direct conversation about what is coming next in space — and a look inside Space DOTS just before we launch our second mission.
