Voyaj and U.S. Department of State's Innovation Station | Community Experience

​To the Innovation Station network Community...

​​Throughout the first three years of the Innovation Station initiative at the U.S. Department of State, we’ve endeavored to help you build relationships with communities domestically and internationally to further share your important work. Now, we’re pleased to collaborate with Yasmine El Baggari of Voyaj to provide opportunities for you to better connect with fellow innovators within the Innovation Station network.

​​We strongly encourage you to join this one-hour virtual session if you are able. During the session, you will meet and interact with fellow women within the Innovation Station network in an informal setting to build your personal and professional networks. This has been designed to be engaging, fun, and low-effort on your part!

​​An Experience of Human Connection

​It was such a pleasure to see some of you in our first gathering!

​As we continue to come together from across diverse cultures, industries, and experiences, we want to share how much we appreciate you joining and bringing your unique perspectives. It was awe-inspiring to hear each other's life stories, hopes, and visions through meaningful exchange.

​​This experience of connection is designed and will be facilitated by Voyaj – a startup by a U.S. Department of State alumna committed to creating settings where we can listen to and exchange with each other authentically. This experience will share Voyaj Curiosity sparks, encouragement to fire-up interest, questions, listening, and sharing of our visions towards supporting each other.

​​This Innovation Station-Voyaj Experience is unique in its intention to create deep connections for fellow innovators from the Innovation Station Community, and as a way to learn from and support each other. It is a space for meaningful discovery with our growing community of members from all over the world, in a safe, comfortable environment.

​​What is a Voyaj Experience?
A “Voyaj Experience” is a facilitated conversation for a small group – the goal of which is connection with a topic and with each other.

What is the Innovation Station?
The Innovation Station, an initiative of the Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI) at the U.S. Department of State, provides a platform for woman and girl innovators to share their translatable solutions to climate-related community challenges.
