Whether you've always wanted to learn American Mahjongg or are simply curious about it, this is the perfect opportunity.

Why Learn Mahjongg?
American Mahjongg is a fascinating game, but it's not one you can simply sit down and play. You'll learn the beautiful tiles, the Wall, the National Mah Jongg League card, the rules, strategy, and the flow of the game—everything you need to confidently join a regular Mahjongg group.
Having a skilled teacher makes all the difference, especially when you're just getting started.

Four 2-hour lessons
Eight hours of instruction
Small class of just 4–5 students
Plenty of individual attention
Once you've learned the game, Carol will be happy to refer you to friendly, free Mahjongg groups in the Santa Barbara area where you can continue playing and make new friends.
Meet Your Instructor:
Carol has spent 45 years as an educator and loves introducing new players to Mahjongg in a fun, supportive, and relaxed environment. She enjoys helping beginners build confidence while learning a game that is both social and mentally stimulating.
American Mahjongg is also a wonderful exercise for the brain, which is one of the reasons she enjoys teaching it so much.
