#4 Founder Meetup
Learn what it takes to turn a developer tool into a successful company from people who did it.
Join us for a panel with Tunya Irkad from 500 Emerging Europe, Amir Babovic from Qubinets, Matija Šošić from Wasp, and Vedran Cindric from Treblle.
We'll dive deep into every possible stage of building and scaling a DevTool to a successful business. Some of the topics we'll cover include:
✅ Getting funding in the DevTools space
✅ Converting developer tools into a product and business
✅ Go-to-market strategies for developer products
Tunya is an Investment Associate at 500 Emerging Europe, a €70M VC fund operating under the Silicon Valley-based 500 Global (previously 500 Startups). 500 Emerging Europe actively invests in early-stage globally scalable technology companies from the CEE region and Turkey.
Matija is the CEO & co-founder of Wasp together with his twin brother. This is the second startup they started together, funded by Y Combinator and top deep tech funds in 2021. Matija's background is an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Zagreb. His previous work spans from a research institute in Singapore to top-growing startups in NYC and London, covering fields of bioinformatics, mobile, and web development.
With 15 years of experience in building businesses, products and teams for some of the most sucessful tech companies in Europe as employee or managment advisor, Amir has lately had an opportunity to start two projects of his own. Combining growth strategies, sales and passion for tech, he is looking to build next gen products in AI/big data and telco, while learning about people culture as a growth driver. Qubinets and Wespa Spaces materialize these subjects in to startups he is currently engaged with
