EEG X Julia Govberg, Chief of Staff @ Clay

EEG is excited to welcome Julia Govberg, Chief of Staff at Clay, for a fireside chat on Thursday, November 5th.

Before Clay, Julia spent five years at First Round Capital, first building community and then working as Chief of Staff to Bill Trenchard.

Clay is an AI platform that helps sales and marketing teams find the right customers, research them, and reach out. Its customers, including OpenAI, Canva, Anthropic, Ramp, and Rippling, use it to power everything from CRM enrichment to highly targeted outreach campaigns. It was also named the only GTM company on Forbes' 2025 AI 50 List.

If you're curious what a chief of staff role actually looks like inside a fast-scaling startup, or how a venture background carries over into operating one, bring your questions.
