​About the Event

​Join TNT for a fireside chat with Paul English, the entrepreneur and technologist best known for co-founding Kayak, one of the most influential travel platforms on the internet.

​Paul co-founded Kayak in 2004 and served as its CTO, building the product and engineering organization behind the travel metasearch engine that transformed how millions of people search for flights, hotels, and rental cars online. The company grew rapidly, went public in 2012, and was acquired by Priceline (now Booking Holdings) for approximately $1.8B shortly thereafter.

​Beyond Kayak, Paul is a prolific Boston entrepreneur who has started and sold multiple companies including Boston Light (acquired by Intuit), Intermute (acquired by Trend Micro), and GetHuman. He later founded travel startup Lola and launched Boston Venture Studio, where he works with founders to build new consumer technology companies.

​In this conversation, we’ll explore Paul’s journey from software engineer to serial founder, his approach to building product-driven companies, and the lessons he’s learned from launching and scaling multiple startups.
