TAP-DC Supper Club 🍲🥢
Join us for an evening of all-you-can-eat hot pot and great conversation as the weather starts to cool down.
To celebrate Mid-Autumn weekend, we are embracing the spirit of gathering with good food and great company for our September Supper Club. Whether you’ve been to a dozen TAP-DC events or this is your very first one, come hang out and meet new friends.
We will gather at Gong Cha (just a few doors down) before heading over to the restaurant. A few of our organizers will be there starting at 5:00 PM. If you come early, grab some bubble tea and hang out a bit before we head to dinner!

🧋 Pre-Meetup: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Gong Cha)
⏰ Dinner Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Location: Urban Hot Pot, Rockville, MD (1800 Rockville Pike H2, Rockville, MD 20852)
🚗 Parking: Garage and street parking
🚇 Metro: Twinbrook Station (Red Line) is a short walk away
⚠️ Important Dining Logistics:
Prompt Seating: Urban Hot Pot enforces a strict 90-minute dining limit. Please meet us at Gong Cha by 5:45 PM so our entire party can walk over and be seated right at 6:00 PM.
Payment: Attendees are responsible for their own meal costs. The AYCE meal is approximately $46/person (including tax and tip, but excluding individual drinks or premium add-ons). We will collect payment at the end of the meal (Venmo preferred).
RSVPs: We have a strict cap on our reservation size, so please RSVP early. If your plans change, please update your RSVP so we can adjust our headcount.
Q: Do I need to be Taiwanese or a “professional” to come?
A: While our mission focuses on the Taiwanese American community, our events are open to all friends of the community. All ages are welcome, including students.
