Building Resilient Communities: A Women’s Social Impact Mixer
How can communities come together to support environmental resilience and strengthen local networks of action?
Join HER, Women in CSR, and WISE LA for a relaxing evening mixer during LA Climate Week. Connect with professionals, organizers, and community leaders working across social impact, sustainability, community engagement and entertainment. Share ideas, spark collaborations, and celebrate the power of community-led initiatives addressing environmental and social challenges across Los Angeles.
The evening will feature brief welcome remarks from Kenyan and Malin, co-founders of 24LA, a grassroots nonprofit born out of last year’s wildfires. 24LA supports families in crisis through community-driven donations and volunteer efforts. Since its founding, the organization has mobilized more than 1,400+ volunteers and distributed $3.3M+ in essential goods - showing the incredible impact local action can have.
Attendees will have the chance to meet peers in the climate and social impact space, explore ways to get involved locally, and contribute through volunteering or in-kind donations supporting families served by 24LA.
Bring a friend! This event is free and open to women of all backgrounds and experience levels interested in environmental action, community support, and collaborative impact.
Light refreshments will be provided by Loving Hut & Optimist. Registration required. In-kind donations for 24LA encouraged (most-needed list shared closer to the event date).

24LA is a grassroots nonprofit founded after last year’s wildfires to provide immediate and ongoing relief to families in crisis through community-driven donations, high-quality essentials, and human-centered care.
Helping Each other Rise (HER) is a community of like-minded women dedicated to helping advance females in entertainment and advertising by holding space for women to make authentic connections & foster genuine relationships to empower each other personally & professionally. HER hosts monthly events ranging from intimate dinner parties and wine and cheese nights featuring speakers & engaging discussions to wellness and volunteer events.
Women in CSR (WCSR) creates a supportive space for professional women and gender expansive people in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability to exchange ideas, create community, and share passions. WCSR meets for happy hours (virtual and in-person) and professional workshops, and maintains communication, resource sharing, and job posting via various social channels.
Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE) is a community for people who identify as women to connect, grow, and share, with the purpose of advancing sustainable investing and women’s leadership.
