This interactive workshop is designed for expats, nomads, and newcomers who want to stop wandering with phrasebooks and start navigating Portuguese towns with confidence, using practical, everyday language.
We'll teach you essential phrases to read signs, ask for directions, use public transport, and engage with locals as you explore your town. Through engaging scenarios, role-plays, and practical tips, you’ll build the confidence to navigate neighborhoods, visit popular spots, and uncover hidden gems off the beaten path. Bring your curiosity and readiness to practise!
Facilitated by Giselle Álvarez and our native Portuguese teachers
Giselle is the founder of IFLI Foreign Language Immersion and brings over 25 years of experience teaching English, Spanish, and Portuguese across Europe and Latin America. She’ll be co-hosting alongside our local Portuguese instructors to guide you through practical, real-life language learning in a friendly, supportive setting.
