About Event

Terraton turns agricultural waste into biochar, generating durable, high-integrity carbon credits at scale. This New York Climate Week, come get an inside look at the end to end process, using cocoa as an example to bring it to life!

Everyone knows cocoa beans are used for chocolate and many know that pyrolyzing the pod husks can produce biochar and carbon credits, but did you know there's also a revenue stream from Cacao Fruit? Processing the husk can unlock this new, lesser known, tasty revenue stream. Join us and learn how while sampling a number of interesting creations including Cacao Juice beverages and Dandelion Chocolate's Gateau Basque made with Cacao Pulp. Of course a selection of Dandelion Chocolate will also be served to show what the end product tastes like.

Beverages and non-chocolate snacks will also be provided.
