Thetis Lake Hike + Swim
This 3.2 km loop follows scenic trails around Thetis Lake, winding through lush forest, peaceful shoreline viewpoints, and diverse ecosystems unique to Vancouver Island.
With very little elevation gain and an easy-to-follow trail, this is the perfect opportunity to get outside, meet some fellow hikers, and enjoy a relaxed walk in nature.
Along the way, we'll pass through towering Douglas-fir forests, beautiful Garry oak meadows, and sections of the Trillium Trail that offer stunning views of the lake and surrounding greenery.
Once we finish the hike, we'll head to one of the lake's swimming areas where anyone interested can cool off with a refreshing swim, relax by the water, or simply enjoy the sunshine and good company.
