Grief Walk: 44 For Sara Louise Gorman-Stockton
My sister’s birthday is November 20th. She would have been 44.
To honor her, I will be walking/running the Sammamish River Trail from 6AM to 6PM in an attempt to walk/run 43 miles.
After losing her in 2023, I’ve learned grief can feel incredibly isolating. So instead of carrying it alone this year, I want to open the walk to others.
You are invited to join me for any portion of the day.
Walk a mile.
Walk five.
Walk silently.
Walk while sharing your story.
This is not a race or fundraiser. It is simply an open invitation for movement, healing, reflection, and community for anyone carrying grief, loss, heartbreak, or pain of their own.
You do not have to explain your grief to belong here.
If you’ve ever needed a reminder that you are not alone, this walk is for you.
Once you register, I will reach out to schedule a time slot that is available 🤍
