​Beyond Representation: Women Building the Future of Legal

​Women remain significantly underrepresented across technology leadership and venture-backed innovation, and legaltech is no exception. Globally, female-only founding teams received just 2.3% of venture capital funding in 2024, despite growing participation across the startup ecosystem. Within legaltech specifically, the overwhelming majority of funded companies continue to be led by men, highlighting the persistent gap between participation and power.

​Against this backdrop, this side event at Legal Tech Talk London will bring together women from across the legaltech ecosystem including founders, operators, lawyers, technologists, investors, and innovators for a candid and forward-looking conversation about leadership, inclusion, and influence in the future of legal technology.

​More than a networking session, this gathering is designed to create meaningful dialogue around the structural barriers women continue to face in legaltech, from access to funding and leadership opportunities to visibility, sponsorship, and decision-making power. At the same time, it will spotlight the women already driving innovation, building companies, shaping adoption, and redefining what leadership in legaltech can look like.

​In a sector still largely dominated by male-led capital, networks, and leadership structures, the need for intentional spaces that foster connection, collaboration, and honest conversation has never been greater.
