Mid-Autumn Festival Hot Pot 中秋節火鍋派對
Hot Pot Party
Join Food Joy Club for traditional hot pot at Shoo Loong Kan in Flushing! Whether you like spicy Sichuan flavours or something milder, there's food for everyone, so bring your appetites (and mooncakes to share)!
A Bit of Culture...
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday centred on family reunion, a harvest celebration, and moon-gazing, celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. People traditionally eat food together and (for those who like them) give and enjoy moon cakes, a festive dessert.
Important Info
The meal will be family style and the final bill split evenly among everyone who attends. So, please be ready to Venmo the person who handles the bill. Due to limited spots, we charge a registration fee to minimise cancellations and no-shows: all money goes to support Food Joy.
