About Event

Every owner I know has a number.

Revenue, deals a month, doors, closings. It climbs for a while, then it stops, and it sits there long enough that you quit mentioning it.

September 16: Stan Sipes

Stan has built revenue inside companies his whole career, Caterpillar to a nine-figure run at Veyo, and he says it comes down to six things. On the 16th he takes the room through all six, and how to tell which one is capping yours.

At a million a year you are still the company, and the number stops where your hours do. At eight million it stops in the meetings you are no longer in. If you wholesale and you are stacking houses, your number is deals a month, and it stops for the same reason a plumber's does: you take every lead, so you never own a lane.

Bring the number you have been stuck at. He is good at finding out why.

One of his questions

Where do your three growth goals stand right now, without looking anything up?

If you reached for a spreadsheet, that is the gap the night is about.

About Stan

Stan Sipes runs A3 Growth Partners in Phoenix. Forty years building revenue inside companies in healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, software, and professional services, starting at Caterpillar.

He ran business development at Total Transit and more than doubled revenue in under three years.

He joined Veyo the month it spun out and helped take it from $60 million to $200 million in about two and a half years, which made it the fastest growing benefit manager in the history of non-emergency medical transportation.

Closer to home, he has sat on the board of the Arizona Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired since 2005, where he is president elect, and he works with the American Heart Association as a survivor.

The room

The Business Club is where owners, operators, capital, and the advisors they actually call meet on purpose. Six nights a year, third Wednesday.

Business gets done here. Nobody gets treated like a lead.

What it isn't: a mastermind, a mixer, or a pitch night. If you are coming to sell, this is the wrong room and it will be obvious inside ten minutes.

The night

Doors at six. Food, drinks, and an open room. Stan speaks at 6:40 and takes questions for as long as they stay good. Done by 8:30, and the last hour is the one most people come for.

About 45 chairs. When it's full, it's full.

Find me when you get there and I'll walk you over to someone by name.

Register below and I'll hold you a chair.
