About Event

Join the Stanford Sustainability Accelerator and Ponderosa Ventures on Tuesday, September 22nd for our second annual NYCW dinner discussing innovation and investment capital in food and agriculture!

Now more than ever, climate volatility, shifting disease pressures, fertilizer and water constraints, and changing trade dynamics are putting growing pressure on how we produce food and the economics of doing so.

At the same time, a new generation of tools is reaching the field: improved genetics, AI-led optimization, cheaper automation and robotics, and new biologicals and crop protection.

The combination of challenging macro conditions and rapid technological innovation is creating a particularly interesting moment for the future of food and ag tech. Will these headwinds slow adoption or ultimately catalyze it?

We look forward to an open, forward-looking conversation about the current state of food and agriculture and what industry voices are focusing on as we head into the coming year.

The dinner will bring together leaders from a range of stakeholders, including accelerators, early-stage venture, growth-stage venture, debt capital, corporates, and operators.

Details:

When: September 22nd from: 7-10pm

Where: TBA

Note: please be sure that you can make it or cancel your RSVP by September 12th. We want to avoid wasting food and make the most of the select few spots.
