An Exclusive Tour and Free Workshop in Our Neighbor’s Native Garden in Laurel Canyon/Stanley Hills Drive
NEW LOCATION FOR NEXT MEETING! An original Plant Native Laurel Canyon(PNLC) member and longtime canyon resident will host us in his charming hillside garden to share with us his landscaping journey over the decades.
Randy Dodge, our neighbor on Stanley Hills Drive, has nurtured hundreds of plants thus far — on the hillsides, in the sun, in the shade, in various water zones — watching with wonder as one-gallon plants grew into enormous bushes and trees. He will give us a tour, explain how he solved certain problems, and share his experiences with us.
Plus, plus, plus! We have invited our favorite guest speaker Terry Huang, a Theodore Payne Foundation native plant expert and educator to add his suggestions and to answer all of our many gardening questions. Bring photos of your gardens, be they native-planted already or only in the planning stages. Terry and our PNLC community will give you lots of specific advice!
See you at Randy’s garden on Sunday at 3pm!
