​The Climate Party® is building a Scenius - collective genius - for Climate solutions in India.

​Climate Parties are a series of immersive learning & ecosystem building events curated to enable interdisciplinary solutionists, either already working in or seriously considering a transition to the Climate space, to discover more of their kind across domains and cross-pollinate ideas for collaborative action.

​Our climate parties across 8 cities over the past 2.5 years have brought together 3,500+ diverse Climate stakeholders, from CXOs to students, and culminated in tangible actions.

​About the event

​Ever wondered what actually goes inside the making of your denim jeans?!

​Many of us wear denim clothes every week...yet almost none of us know what goes inside the making of our second skin! So we decided to take you on an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at one of India's oldest and largest denim manufacturing facilities where innovation, sustainability, and industrial excellence have evolved over nearly 80 years.

​We're opening the doors to Arvind's integrated denim manufacturing ecosystem to understand what sustainable textile production looks like on the ground beyond reports, certifications, and marketing claims.

​This is a rare opportunity to witness a working Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) manufacturing system, explore how resources flow through a textile factory from yarn to fabric, and engage directly with the teams responsible for running and improving these complex operations every day.

​The factory experience - from yarn to fabric

​This guided tour of Arvind's manufacturing ecosystem will help you understand how one of India's leading textile manufacturers is rethinking resource efficiency at scale.

​During the tour, you'll get to explore:

​• The complete denim production journey — from yarn processing to finished fabric;

​• A 'Zero Liquid Discharge' (ZLD) water management system which also significantly reduces freshwater consumption, and how wastewater is recovered, treated, and reused;

​• Energy systems and resource recovery mechanisms integrated across operations;

​• Chemical management practices and circular approaches to reuse and recycling; and

​• The challenges and trade-offs involved in implementing sustainability within a large-scale industrial setup.

​Rather than a polished showcase, this is an opportunity to understand the realities of operating a complex manufacturing facility and the continuous improvements that happen behind the scenes.
