Powering the Digital Economy: Energy Partnerships, Data Center Growth, and Community Engagement
Please join the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, Fordwell Strategies, and Tuli Public Affairs for an interactive roundtable hosted by the American Energy Abundance Alliance.
This invitation-only roundtable will bring together leaders from across the energy sector and the data center industry to examine the scale and pace of data center growth and the significant energy needs accompanying that expansion. The discussion will have a focus on how partnerships between data center developers and energy providers can help meet rising demand while advancing reliability, affordability, and sustainability goals.
Plus, hear from featured speaker Alex Fitzsimmons, U.S. Associate Deputy Secretary of Energy and Senior Advisor to the Energy Secretary. He will share federal approaches for supporting growing digital infrastructure needs while meeting load growth.
Participants will explore how emerging technologies and innovative solutions – including energy efficiency, HVAC systems, optimization and load flexibility tools, storage, clean firm generation, and other approaches – can support growing digital infrastructure needs. Plus, community engagement strategies, lessons learned from project development and siting, and opportunities for deeper collaboration among data center operators, energy companies, policymakers, and local stakeholders.
A light breakfast will be provided.
Please note, Alex Fitzsimmons' remarks will begin promptly at 9:00 am. All participants are encouraged to arrive at 8:30 am to ensure enough time to grab a quick bite and network before the program begins.
