Pickling Party to end food waste!
Join us to celebrate the end of Soapbox Project's six-week Climate-Friendly Food course! This is a lil bonus session for those of you who weren't able to make the course but still want to take action to end food waste and make our planet more sustainable.
Our Pickling Party / food waste Action Hour will be led by Chef Alison Mountford, founder of Ends and Stems AKA "worm lady" on TikTok. (You've gotta come to this event to learn more about that.)
We will be going through three pickle recipes -- quick pickled red onions, giardinara (which is veggie pickles basically), and classic! This is a great opportunity for you to use what you already have in your fridge.
