About Event
Who should come? -Riders of all ages & abilities for a leisurely ride through San Francisco. (no drop ride)
Where are we going? -We'll start the ride at the Ferry Plaza Gandhi statue (easy access from Bart, MUNI, or short Caltrain ride) exploring Major Taylor and African American pioneers, and wind through downtown San Francisco to Mission Art & Comics.
What should I bring? - Please bring a bicycle, helmet, water & snacks. The first 10 riders to arrive will receive a signed copy of Major Taylor, the world's fastest man, by Fred Noland at ride completion.
What length is the ride? - The ride is 4.25 miles long and relatively flat.
