​A Festival of Light
Come dressed for the holiday and bring a South Asian/Holiday dish or beverage to share at this year's Food Joy Club Diwali Party! Knowing this is a time for people to celebrate with friends and family, we scheduled this after the formal holiday period.

A bit of history...
Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian religions such as Jainism and Sikhism. It symbolises the spiritual victory of Dharma over Adharma, light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. The holiday is celebrated and expressed through candles, food, and more in temples, homes, and shared public spaces.
