

DojoExplore at Macalester | Week 1: An Introduction to Biotech
Nucleate Dojo is Nucleate’s undergraduate subdivision, empowering college students to become the next biotech leaders through open-access education, capital, and community.
DojoExplore is a 5-week, introductory in-person seminar series designed to expose undergraduate students to the field of biotech, its basic functions, and its multitude of opportunities. The program is executed in collaboration with Innovation Scholars. Guests ranging from biotech VC to early-stage biotech founders to industry and academia leaders will be carrying out 1-1.5 hour seminars throughout the Spring term.
About Dr. Corey Monteith
Dr. Corey Monteith, a Macalester alumna, has built a distinguished career in the biotech industry. With a diverse background spanning hands-on research, leadership, and business development, she has excelled both as a practicing bench scientist and on the commercial side of the biotech/life sciences industry. With ten years of combined experience in roles as a senior scientist, department head, and in sales and business development, Dr. Corey Monteith has found success at companies such as Strateos, bit.bio, and Intralink.
