Wanakam Brunch Club: South America meets South Asia

​The Wanakam Brunch Club is a new rotating culinary series where guest chefs bring their regional childhood staples into our kitchen, layering them with a distinct South Asian twist. It is about finding the beautiful, messy, and delicious overlaps between our global communities right here in Amsterdam Oost.

​For our third edition, we are bringing in Chef Max Bonfanti. We are exploring the shared emotional vocabulary of South American and South Asian comfort food: a deep respect for slow-cooked elements, vibrant and acidic salsas/chutneys, the communal utility of flatbreads, and an unapologetic love for heat.

​BOV (Board of Vibes) will be soundtracking our brunch, easing you into the day with morning-proof, mellow deep house and smooth disco. As the afternoon rolls on, they’ll turn up the tempo and bring the groove, seamlessly transitioning into our Chai Rave. Your ticket grants you full access to the entire musical journey, keeping the energy going until 18:30.
