As a product grows, so does the team behind it — and eventually, the moment comes when things need to be split.
Maybe it’s time to break down a massive monolith. Maybe different teams just can’t agree on who owns what. Maybe the boundaries between features are blurry and messy.
This transition is often marked by two extremes:

1. Everyone wants the most “important” pieces.
2. No one wants to own the critical (but complex) parts.

In this talk, I’ll share how to approach product and domain decomposition in a structured way — how to divide functionality between teams without causing chaos. Most importantly, I’ll talk about why analysts are often the key players in making this process work… or letting it fail.
