Thread Haus Design 4 Dignity pop-up and community fundraiser
Design 4 Dignity is a four-day pop-up and community fundraiser by Thread Haus Co., blending fashion, creativity, and purpose to uplift El Rivera Poet & Elder in Leimert Park community
This November, Thread Haus Co. returns to Leimert Park with a four-day celebration of fashion, customization, and community care.
Hosted at Sole Folks, a Black-owned retail and creative co-op, the “Design for Good” Pop-Up invites guests to re-imagine their own garments and give back while doing it.
Bring your jacket, hoodie, or denim piece — and our team of designers will transform it into a signature Thread Haus creation:
🧥 StreetSleeper conversion | 🎩 Crew Cap customization | 🕶️ Cloak & Bag Jacket remixes
Throughout the weekend:
Thursday (11/20) – VIP Night: Exclusive preview, early access shopping, and private customization appointments.
Friday (11/21) – Preview + Shopping Day: Shop limited-edition pieces and see live garment transformations.
Saturday (11/22) – Community Day: Music, food, and open customization sessions for the neighborhood.
Sunday (11/23) – Family Activation Day: Hands-on creative fun for all ages — bringing generations together through design.
Guests can bring their own garments to be customized into signature Thread Haus pieces — StreetSleepers, Crew Caps, Cloaks, and Bag Jackets. Also shop exclusive crew cap collection launching that weekend..
gift-card donations will support EL. Riviera, a beloved community member seeking housing, and Thread Haus proceeds goes to fuel the StreetSleeper Initiative, providing warmth and dignity to unsheltered neighbors across L.A.
💚 Guests are encouraged to bring gift cards (Target, Ralphs, Walmart, Visa) to directly support L. Riviera, a beloved Leimert Park elder who has lived in her car for more than 20 years.
All event sales will also fund the Thread Haus StreetSleeper Initiative, helping produce convertible jackets that become backpacks and sleeping bags for unsheltered individuals across Los Angeles.
