​Helen, now a global digital regulatory consultant at Mason Hayes & Curran, oversaw many of the most significant data protection cases since the GDPR came into force. In this conversation, she will reflect on her time in one of Europe’s most prominent regulatory roles, the complex issues her office navigated and the importance of the strong cooperative relationships between her office and the UK ICO and other regulators globally. Helen will consider and the moments decisions that have helped shape the global privacy landscape and highlight some of the challenges businesses and regulators are now facing in an ever-evolving digital regulatory landscape.
