NYC in LA: Passover Potluck in Silver Lake
Join NYC in LA for an intimate Passover dinner in Silver Lake, hosted poolside at a private home.
We're gathering for a thoughtfully hosted evening with a curated mix of (both Jewish and non-Jewish) New Yorkers, Angelenos, and friends of the community, the kind of night built around good food, engaging conversation, and a guest list that keeps things personal.

This is an outdoor, mingle-style evening set in a beautiful backyard with a pool, hot tub, and plenty of space to spread out. The format is relaxed and free-flowing: grab a plate, find your spot, and let the conversations come to you. The pool and hot tub will be open for anyone who'd like to take a dip, but the heart of the evening is the company. Come however you're comfortable and enjoy the night at your own pace.
Seating is limited, so feel free to bring a blanket or cushion to settle in under the stars.
Food: This gathering will be potluck-style. Guests are welcome to bring a dish, dessert, bottle, or something festive for the table. Please sign up here so we can keep track of what's coming:

A note on the space: this is a relaxed outdoor evening with a simple setup. The host is generously opening his backyard, and the kitchen is minimal (microwave only, no stovetop, grill or oven). Dishes that travel well at room temperature or arrive ready-to-serve are ideal. We're also building the table together, so if you can, bring plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, napkins, or serving pieces in addition to your dish, please note it on the sign-up sheet.
This event is open to NYC in LA members, friends of the community, and newcomers alike. If you've been curious about joining an NYC in LA gathering, this is a great one to start with. Our host committee will be there to welcome guests and help make introductions.
