Regional Cyber Range CTF Hands-On Web Application Security with Shadow Bank
Regional Cyber Range CTF Hands On Web Application Security with Shadow Bank
CMD+CTRL Security is organizing an online, hands-on Cyber Range CTF featuring Shadow Bank, a realistic vulnerable banking application designed to help participants practice real-world web application security skills.
The event is being promoted in partnership with OWASP Los Angeles, OWASP Orange County, and the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu SoCal.
During the workshop, participants will work through practical challenges involving common application security vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting, authorization bypass, password cracking, business logic abuse, broken access control, and security misconfiguration.
This online workshop is designed for developers, application security testers, security champions, cybersecurity students, and practitioners who want to strengthen their understanding of how web application vulnerabilities work in realistic environments.
Participants will gain hands on experience identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in a safe training environment while building stronger intuition around application security risks, attacker behavior, and defensive thinking.
