Sleep Under The Stars Summer Sendoff: Adult LGBTQ+ Campout
Help TVOP send off the fabulous summer season with another fun evening of queer adult camping and camaraderie at our Basecamp in Southern Vermont!
This will be a night of community, dancing, laughter, grilling, fires, and new connections under a gorgeous blanket of stars!
Our kickoff Sleep Under the Stars event in June had a fabulous potluck, and we’d love to repeat that experience this August. Bring a dish to share if you’d like to - or something to throw on the grill.
Gather your friends, your best campfire stories, your stargazing tips and tricks, and s’mores. We can’t wait to see you there!

Campsites, hot tub access, our on-site recreational trail systems, the use of our grills and firewood, and outdoor showers are all included in registration. Bring your own camping gear!
For safety and space purposes, we do not allow any vans, campers, or rooftop tents. We keep the parking lot and the campground areas separate.
This event is intended for adults ages 18 and older who identify as queer, trans, or members of the LGBTQ+ community.
We recognize that for some adults, having a beer or glass of wine around the campfire is part of the fun of camping. To that end, Sleep Under the Stars is not a substance free event. However we do ask that if people choose to have a drink at night, they do so responsibly and respectfully. Due to insurance and VT state laws, folks are not allowed to BYOB. Adults with valid ID will have the option to purchase wine or beer on site.
Pets are welcome at this event. Dogs must remain on 6ft, non-retractable leashes, be responsive to commands, and friendly to other dogs/pets that may show up at the event.
