Alice is the founder of Tangle Works, a facilitation and consultancy business that helps teams and leaders untangle their knottiest challenges through creative thinking.
The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report is clear: after tech skills, creative thinking is the number one skill required by 2030, globally across industries.
It is a skill Alice spent two decades developing and applying in the fast-paced world of media and advertising. Working as the strategic leader on some of the world's biggest global brands including L'Oréal, British Airways, Aviva and Nestlé, she led large multi-functional teams through complex briefs and challenging situations, whilst fostering the collaboration, trust and curiosity that great creative thinking needs to thrive. From cheese to finance, mascara to software, she has seen first-hand that creative thinking works across every sector and every kind of challenge.
Now, through Tangle Works, she brings that strategic experience and expertise to a wider world, working with teams and senior leaders through workshops, strategy days and training. Because creative thinking is not reserved for creative industries or creative people. It is a skill everyone already has the capacity for, and one that every industry needs.
Alice also strongly believes in the benefits that diversity of thought and different perspectives can bring to businesses, which is why she co-founded Vital Hardware; a charity that helps the next generation of creatives access the creative industry, by providing young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with the right hardware and connections to help them succeed.
