About Event

Some girls are born leaders. They question, negotiate, challenge, and push boundaries. They want to do it themselves, have strong opinions, and aren't afraid to let you know exactly what they think.

While these traits can become incredible strengths, they can also create daily power struggles at home.

How do we encourage independence and confidence while also teaching respect, responsibility, and self-control?

If your daughter argues, negotiates, questions everything, insists on doing it herself, or seems determined to have the last word... you're not alone.

Join us for an honest conversation about raising daughters who can think for themselves, advocate for themselves, and still understand that rules and boundaries matter.

Together we'll discuss:

💜 Encouraging independence without constant power struggles

💜 Teaching respect without demanding blind obedience

💜 Setting boundaries that actually stick

💜 When to hold firm and when to let go

💜 Helping girls use their voice respectfully

💜 Building confidence without creating entitlement

Hosted by Brooke Shapiro of Sprinkles Parents in collaboration with Rachel Sklar, founder of The Boy Mom Academy.

Host Bios:
Brooke brings her experience as a mom of a strong-willed daughter and a parent community builder.

Rachel will join the conversation and share insights from her work helping parents build strong relationships, reduce power struggles, and raise confident, responsible kids.
