Sprints are quarterly board game design challenges built to spark your creativity and uncover the game designer in you like never before inside a mailed package. Each Sprint usually lasts one month and invites designers from around the world to create a brand-new tabletop game from a unique set of creative constraints — called Sparks.
Just like a cooking challenge with mystery ingredients, you'll get a list of requirements inside your package — such as a themed word like "Summer", a player count, a setting, and/or even a playful requirement like "must be created at a park while drinking lemonade." You will also get pieces that you must use at least one of in your game. You can use other pieces you have or want to buy as well.
Each Spark set is designed to help you explore new creative spaces, step outside your comfort zone, and practice rapid game design in a fun way.
