Williamsburg Bridge to Greenpoint Group Walk

​This is a 6.5-mile group walk starting in Lower Manhattan, crossing the Williamsburg Bridge, and looping through Greenpoint.

​We'll meet outside Elbow Bread (opens at 9am), then head straight across the Williamsburg Bridge and to Greenpoint.

​We'll roll at 9:15am to avoid most of the heat and crowds.

​We won't stop for food along the way, but feel free to bring a packed lunch or explore the food scene at one of Greenpoint's many outstanding spots at the end.

​Note this is a walk at "New York pedestrian pace." It's not a race, but we'll move at a brisk pace. All are welcome, but if you'd like a slower stroll, have the route on hand to self-navigate.

​Come alone or with a friend (pups included), ready to walk, chat, and take in the beauty of this somewhat-disconnected neighborhood. The G is very unreliable on weekends, so plan to walk to LIC or Williamsburg to catch the subway home.
