About Event

If you're plotting your next move, rebuilding after a layoff, or expanding your client list, this one's for you.

Welcome to Plot Twist: an experience designed to inspire and energize creative professionals at a career crossroads. Our programming will offer tools to support attendees as they recharge, reframe and prepare for their next era. Sessions will help attendees identify their values & priorities, reflect on their strengths, build genuine connections, access new and helpful resources, and decompress in a nourishing environment.

Plot Twist will be hosted by Dayna Lynne North of Being Loud Sis and Meredith Jacobson of Work Friends. Dayna and Meredith share a passion for creating spaces where peers can gather, share knowledge, and support each other.

We're proud to be supported by Lawyerly for this event. If you're a creator or solopreneur in need of support with anything from setting up your entity, contract review, registering trademarks, protecting your IP, and beyond, visit lawyerly.law or reach out to Elliot at elliot@lawyerly.law to learn more.

Agenda —

10am: Doors open, coffee is served

10:15am: Programming begins with opening remarks and intention setting from Dayna & Meredith.

10:30am: Values Workshop: Our first session of the day will be a workshop using proven methodology to help attendees uncover their values, led by Priya Achaibar, Co-Founder & CEO of Thena. Thena is an AI-enhanced life design system that bridges the gap between self-awareness and aligned action. As values become clear, this exercise will help attendees apply their findings to speak and operate with greater authenticity. The session combines guided human coaching with AI that accelerates pattern recognition and insight generation, surfacing in minutes what typically takes hours of reflection.

11:15am: Power Pivots: Next, we'll move into roundtable discussions moderated by people who have gone through career pivots as a result of a “lifequake," layoff, or in pursuit of a passion. We’ll touch on topics such as defining personal brand in a new era, turning a side hustle into a thriving business, and translating skills across industries. While we will have featured speakers, we know everyone at this gathering is accomplished in their own right. Folks will be encouraged to engage with one another and share where they are in their journey. We want to be open about our goals and dreams, as well as potential support we can offer.

12pm: Brunch & Mingle

1pm: Experience the Being Loud Sis "BeWell Lounge" — a moment to integrate and reset — with bespoke practitioners, products and experiences, including: “Breathe To The Beat” with Omi Bell, crystals from the ladies of Because I Rock, and Purposefully Adorned Waist Beads, to name a few.

If our goals are achieved, you'll leave with a clearer head, a renewed spirit, a few action items, and several new connections to stay in touch with.
